The correction route is being prepared, but it must work before the site asks readers to rely on it.

Status reviewed

Email activation required before launch corrections@riotupdates.com is the intended correction address. It is not claimed to be working. Cloudflare Email Routing must be configured for the domain, routed to a monitored destination, and tested in both directions before this address is presented as an operational contact channel.

Current contact status

There is no contact form and no verified public mailbox in the reviewed build. Until the intended address is activated and tested, readers should not rely on it for time-sensitive, legal, privacy, or security notices.

What to include in a correction

Once the mailbox is operational, a correction request is easiest to evaluate when it includes:

  • the exact page URL;
  • the sentence, table row, date, or source identifier at issue;
  • a concise explanation of what may be inaccurate or incomplete;
  • a link or copy of the strongest supporting record; and
  • whether the issue is time-sensitive.

New evidence is welcome. A request is not automatically accepted because it comes from a subject, employer, fan, critic, or cited publisher; the public record and the editorial policy control the outcome.

Other inquiries

The same intended route may be used, after activation, for source material, privacy questions, accessibility issues, and editorial inquiries. Use a clear subject line. Do not send passwords, payment information, government identifiers, medical information, confidential source material, or other sensitive data without first establishing an appropriate secure channel.

Riot Updates cannot contact Riot for you

Riot Updates is an independent publication and has no affiliation with Riot Games, Tencent, or another covered organization. It cannot provide account support, game support, refunds, employment assistance, press credentials, or a way to reach those organizations. Use the relevant organization’s official support or corporate channel for those requests.

Required launch check

  1. Enable Email Routing for riotupdates.com in Cloudflare.
  2. Create and verify the destination mailbox.
  3. Route corrections@riotupdates.com to that destination.
  4. Send an external test message and confirm receipt.
  5. Send a reply and confirm that the chosen sender identity and workflow behave as intended.
  6. Only then replace this status notice with an operational mail link and a realistic response expectation.
